Original décollage artwork, derived from layers of antique sheet music covers.

This piece was reworked  over and over, refusing to settle until it was eventually ready. Within the largely abstract result, whispers of discarded versions remain.

The once intended protagonist is all but lost, gazing through the layers that have enveloped her.

Applied to acid-free art board and presented in an aged and tarnished as-found frame, including new glass glazing.
